You already stamp a paper card
Your paper card cannot tell you who stopped coming.
A punch card records a visit. It does not record an absence. That is the one thing you are missing, and it is exactly what Kanz adds: the same card, the reward you choose yourself, plus something that notices when a person has stopped coming back.
What the paper card does very well
It never breaks. It needs no battery, no signal and no password. Anyone understands what it is for in a second, and it costs the price of printing.
None of that is a flaw, and a page that pretended otherwise would be lying to you about the rest as well. If the paper card is enough, keep it.
What it cannot do
A stamp is a mark on card stock, and that card lives in the customer's pocket. You only see it when they come back, which is the one moment you need nothing.
The person you should be hearing about is the one whose card you have not seen in six weeks. Paper cannot name her, because it never counts the days on which nothing happened.
A digital card counts those days. That is the whole difference, and it is the only one worth a subscription.
How the changeover goes
- You design your card: three colours, your name, the reward, and how many stamps it asks for, anywhere from 1 to 30.
- You print whatever you want: an A4 poster at 300 dots per inch, an A5 or A6 flyer, a sticker, a table tent. All of it is made in the panel and downloaded.
- The customer scans or taps, leaves a number, and the card lands on their phone. They install nothing.
- On every visit the counter scans the card. That is where the visit is recorded, and every other thing here comes from those dates.

What those two pages do not say is what Kanz does with any of it. Everything else here describes the product, not the Wallet.
And the paper cards already out there?
They keep working for as long as you keep stamping them. Nothing forces you to stop everything on the same day, and the simplest thing is to let both run for a few weeks while the cards in circulation finish.
There is no import: the digital card starts at zero stamps for every person who takes it. That is the honest half of the answer. What you offer somebody who already had a nearly full paper card is your call.
This page describes what Kanz does, not what other businesses got out of it. There is no testimonial here, no average and no percentage, because there is not yet an honest one to publish. The only numbers are the prices from the price list and the thresholds the detection rule computes: both can be redone by hand.
What people ask us most.
- Do my customers have to install an app?
- No. The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which are already on the phone. Nobody downloads anything, not the customer and not you.
- What about customers with no smartphone?
- They get a link that opens in the browser, and nothing stops you stamping their paper card alongside it. A business is not obliged to run only one system.
- How many stamps for a reward?
- Whatever number you want, from 1 to 30, and you can change it later. The reward itself stays yours: Kanz funds none of it and does not tell you what to offer.
- Do my paper stamps carry over to the digital card?
- No, and it is better to know that before you start. There is no import: every person starts at zero. That is why plenty of businesses let both run for a few weeks.
