Kanz handles your customers' phone numbers. Here is exactly what we do with them, in plain words.
What we collect
From you: your name, your email, your business and billing details. From your customers: a phone number or an email address, a first name if they give one, and the history of visits scanned at your counter. Nothing else: no location, no advertising tracker, no profiling outside your business.
Why we collect it
Only to run the service: issue the card, keep it updated, work out who is drifting away, and send the messages you approved.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with another business. We do not use it to sell you anything other than Kanz. A customer signed up at your place does not exist at the business next door.
Your customers' consent
Every customer signs up themselves from the opt-in page, seeing your business name. They opt out with a single tap, through a signed link on the back of their card and in every message, with no confirmation screen. The opt-out is immediate and final.
Where the data lives
A replicated database at our host, and files (images, card artwork) on encrypted object storage. Messages travel through the operators of the channels you choose, who apply their own policies.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. On cancellation you have thirty days to export, after which your customers' data is deleted.
Your rights and your customers' rights
Access, correction, export and deletion, for you and for any of your customers who asks you. One request, one answer within thirty days.
