Comparison

Kanz or Stamp Me

The same stamp card, in two very different places on the phone.

Comparison verified on 31 July 2026

In three lines

Stamp Me puts your card in its app, with counter hardware and games. Kanz puts it in the wallet your customer already has, and puts an agent to work on absences.

Every line in the table comes from a public page belonging to the vendor in question, with the link and the date it was checked directly underneath. When a vendor does not publish something, we write "not published" instead of inventing a figure. When their site says nothing either way, we write "not stated". If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will fix it.

What actually separates the two

Three differences, and the first decides almost everything.

  • Where the card lives: their app at {name}, Apple Wallet or Google Wallet at Kanz.
  • What has to be installed: an app there, nothing here.
  • What happens next: hardware and games there, an agent that wins people back here.

Who wins, and when

Both columns are the same size because both cases are real. If nothing on the left speaks to you, the answer is on the right, and the reverse is just as true.

Pick Stamp Me if

  • You want a validation device at the counter rather than a phone that scans.
  • You want gamification, a scratch game or a birthday club for instance.
  • You want SMS in volume, without counting messages.
  • You already send your email with a dedicated tool and want loyalty wired into it.

Pick Kanz if

  • You do not want your customers installing anything: the card is added to the wallet in ten seconds.
  • You want the card to carry your name, not an app's.
  • You want an agent that spots absences and drafts the message.
  • You serve in Arabic and want a right to left interface.

Moving from one to the other

This is the most visible migration for your customers, because they move from an app to their wallet.

  1. Tell your regulars at the counter: the card is moving, it is not disappearing.
  2. Carry over the same reward and the same number of stamps in Kanz.
  3. Have the new QR scanned on every visit for a month, keeping the old system as a backup.
  4. Stop the previous subscription once your card is in your regulars' wallets.

Kanz does not take in an existing customer file, and that is deliberate: each person signs up themselves from your QR or your link, and that gesture is what gives their consent to be contacted.

What we get asked about this comparison

Will my customers lose their stamps?
They are not transferred automatically. The simplest route is to carry over the same reward and credit already-earned stamps by hand on the first visit, so nobody feels they are starting from zero.
Is the wallet really better than an app?
For enrolment, yes: there is nothing to download and nothing to create. For games and counter hardware, their app does things Kanz does not.
Is {name} moving to the wallet?
Their page announces it as coming. Until it is live, this comparison describes what exists, not what is planned.
